ABOUT THE CLUB
GREENVILLE, S.C. More than three dozen Grammy Award winners, countless Grammy nominees, a half-dozen Rock n Roll Hall of Fame inductees and dozens of awards have made The Handlebar: A Listening Room the premier concert venue in the Upstate -- some would say in the entire Southeast.
Since opening in September 1994, The Handlebar has presented more than 2,000 concerts, featuring a vast array of musicians, from the legendary to the unknown, in all genres: from rock to bluegrass, from jazz to blues, from reggae to punk, metal, R&B and more. (See the list of performers to your left).
The award-winning venue is located at 304 E. Stone Avenue, just off Main Street near downtown Greenville, South Carolina, ideally situated within easy driving distance from Atlanta, Charlotte, NC, Charleston and Columbia, SC, Athens, GA, Asheville, NC, and other great cities.
For more information, contact The Handlebar (864.233.6173 | handlebar-online.com) or see the CALENDAR PAGE for upcoming shows.
Tickets to shows may be purchased online by clicking here, by calling the venue and charging by phone, at Horizon Records (864.235.7922), at Earshot Records (864.232.1623), at Eastside Guitars & More (864.281.9771) or in person at the venue.
Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m Mon.-Fri.; 4 p.m. Sat. Doors to the Listening Room generally open about an hour before the scheduled show time. Concerts on weeknights start at 8:30 and 9 on weekend nights.

BOOKING - ATTENTION ALL BANDS
Each year, The Handlebar receives more than 3,000 queries to fill 400 slots, including hundreds on myspace -- all of which go unread. SO do NOT post messages about booking on The Handlebar’s myspace site. For ALL booking information, please visit The Handlebar in person (preferably) or the Website (before you do anything) at Click Here .
PLEASE read the ENTIRE Booking page Click Here for Booking Page BEFORE contacting the venue. Before you post anything, remember: We do not click, listen, visit, read, help out on your tour, advise, consult, book other rooms, offer $100-$300 guarantees to bands we don’t know, help you trade dates in other markets with bands, etc. We want to fill our room to capacity. And we want to help you do everything you can to make you, your band and your efforts stand out.
