Hiking and camping are my passion, I love being outside. Many years ago I worked for Eckerd Youth Alternatives as a teacher/counselor, you can view their site at, www.eckerd.org. Eckerd is a boys and girls boot camp for troubled youth founded by Jack and Ruth Eckerd, same founder of Eckerd drug stores, and Ruth Eckerd Hall. Great people, great company, I once had the honor of taking a walk in the wilderness with Jack before he passed away, and at the end of our walk he game me a Swiss army knife, he was a true gentleman, and someone that I dearly respect. In addition to the wilderness, and things like camping and hiking, I also love to canoe and bike ride, I once canoed the Suwannee river from Fargo Ga. to the Gulf of Mexico, something like 230 miles, it took me 23 days straight. That's the longest I have been without a shower...Hey, Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps count as bathing...Since attending SPC, I have developed a passion to build my own web site and one day will be a .com entrepreneur. Learning how to build web sites is very time consuming and is like learning another language plus some, and then some more. I also love the arts, and am somewhat of an artist myself, I do wedding photography with my sister at Shannonlivingston.com and I really enjoy working with my sister, she is one of my best friends. Photography is amazing work but I also paint, sculpt, and do the wheel. I also have a dog named Roxy, she is a Jack Russell mix and is my little girl, truly mans best-friend. I also enjoy snow skiing, gardening, collecting antiques and art, fishing, sports; played goal-keeper, football, and basketball. I also enjoy cooking, and holding hands with someone I love, anywhere and all the time is good for me. The simplicities in life are what I appreciate the most. We can only take so much with us when we die, better have the right gear.

I'd like to meet:

Music:

Nirvana, the Beatles, Mazzy Star, The White Stripes, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Simon and Garfunkel, Lobo, The Mamas and the Papas, Zeppelin, Matalica, Neil Young, some techno, some country, jazz, blues, bluegrass, metal... I guess for being somewhat of a nerd I have a pretty open mind to things, oh and yes,...John Denver big time, Rocky Mountain High, brother Joey!...NOTE TO SELF; Never build and fly your own plane...

Movies:

I did like Walk the line", but with my busy school schedule I don't get the chance to watch many movies or television. I also liked "Sweet Home Alabama", chick flick I know, but Reese Witherspoon is my favorite actress, and the dude in that movie kind of reminded me of myself, you know, good-hearted country guy with that artistic twist thrown in there. Yup, I will probably live in Seattle some day.

Television:

As far as television goes I am pretty much the Discover Channel type. I do LOVE football though, and am a HUGE Gator fan, whooo,.... NCAA Champs 2006!. Other TV likes are the History Channel, HGTV, The Weather Channel rocks; I could watch radar for days, particularly during hurricane season. Food Network, I love Iron Chef America, especially when Bobby looses, cant stand him. Well, for TV thats about it, like I said, I would rather go throw a pot on the potters wheel than watch television.

Books:

The Bible, any school book, especially; Business Law, HTML, English. Also "The Purpose Driven Life"

Heroes:

First of all, my biggest hero is Jesus, thank you Jesus for being my best friend and biggest hero..... Ok now there is always Captain Cave Man, my parents, and my sister big time, without her I would have never learned how to swim or ride a bike, and well, she just rocks; my other siblings too. All my instructors who have taught me a thing or two, God love teachers! Let see, there is Adrian, Cindy, Joey, Ben, Sam, Buddha, Darlene, Angie, My new friend Holly too. Now there is Phillip, Tom, Luke, Wade, Martha in my HTML class, Wally, Bill, Mark, John, Dave, Mike, and Bill Gates. Now with God, hope, my dog Roxy, and all those mentioned here, I will go on and continue to cry, and laugh through this life. Oh yeah, did I mention John Denver...I need him too. Kudos to all my Heros...
