My Interests

I love playing outside on beautiful sunshiney days and curling up with a book and a warm blanket on cold stormy nights. I live in one of the neatest little communities in Mississippi - Fondren. It's a very artistic area and I'm proud to live in the neighborhood! I love to cook - especially for large groups of friends and family. I think you can reach EVERYONE'S heart through their stomach!

Music:

I have pretty eclectic taste in music. You'd be hard pressed to find something that I don't like, but a few of my favorites include - Stir, 'Til December, Dave Matthews, Eagle Eye Cherry, Barenaked Ladies, LIVE, Goo Goo Dolls and Finger Eleven.

Movies:

I used to have my full list of movies here. It included a WHOLE LOT of horror movies. It's still one of my favorite genres, but right now I'm not feeling it. Right now I feel like - What Dreams May Come, Robin Hood, A Beautiful Mind, Pan's Labyrinth and some other kinda sappy movies. Being in love does that to me I guess. :-)

Television:

Law and Order CI and Law and Order SVU... also BRAVES BASEBALL!

Books:

Poe, Dickinson and Faulkner are my favorite authors. I just finished re-reading The Giver by Lois Lowry and Jamie and I are currently reading The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino. Both books are very thought provoking.

Heroes:

My parents, policemen, firemen and members of our armed forces - Also, my best friends... I have been in some really low places before and they're always there to pull me out. Crystal, Jayme, Amanda, Melissa, Haley, Amanda, Candi, Angela, Shellie, Will, Dave, Tyler and yes, even Jamie. There are others, but I might be listing for days.
