D.J. Darse and Swig started making music in Gardena as Budda Company in 1994. They put an e.p. out into the streets shortly after. Brazy had been homies with Budda Company, recording various oddities at their home studio. Then in 1998 Brazy was asked to join the crew. They released another e.p. called, "Hemp-Hop Can Save the Planet", in 1998. They rocked wherever they could get a mic and released the Budda Company 12" in 1999-2000, right after Brazy released his solo e.p. titled, "ManueLabor", which was produced by the infamous Asmar. The Budda Company 12" and ManueLabor can be downloaded for free off their website www.buddaco.com
Their music has been played on various college stations like Mike Nardone's "We Came from Beyond" (www.kxlu.com), as well as sold by MeanStreet Distribution all over the United States.
Budda Company relishes their "Independent" status and invites any and all to blaze a fat one and get down to their Hemp-Hop Muzik.
