I live for late nights that turn into early mornings-and frequently don't realize the time until the sun is rising. I am destined for propositions of late night walks in the city or rock climbing etc. I have come to terms with the fact that I am going to be an academic for life- academia just sucked me in and I can't bare to part with it. I moved to Korea in July to do research and teach some for 13 months. Hopefully something productive like a comparative analysis of schooling (specifics to be determined) will come from this global move. I like dancing when no one else is, typically in public spaces not meant for dancing. I frequently fall in love with characters from Tom Robbins' novels. I love jinjibangs (the Korean bathhouses) and wish that Americans were more prone to public nudity, in turn accepting these institutions with open arms. I am living on an island in the middle of the pacific and am currently pursuing a black belt in Tae kwon do. I miss the highly politicized conversations and debates that frequently took place in every crevice in the town of Northampton. I like biking. I especially like biking to bars in evening attire consisting of dresses. hard not to notice that i have a severe case of ADHD, which i have wholeheartedly embraced.
