Lyrical assassin, a voice crying from the streets, a poetic god? Either way he continues to shower us with rays of light aswe drink from the waters of hypnotic lyrical tales. -------
It is the question that drives us, if you know the question, the answer is out there.
"Who is theR.A.W?" - "Who is Saint Valentine the Legend?" - "Who is Saint James the Day Walker?" the answer is simple andcomplex at the same time....they are 3 different entities/personalities (NOT THE EXORCIST-LOL) that form one man. -------Call him whatever you like, (or whatever personality he sounds like at the time) but no doubt he may me one of the dopestlyricist to breathe into a microphone.After a few years with the threesome: PRISONERS OF WAR. RAW decided to spread his wings and show the world his light. Workinghard to Re-establish himself as a solo artist, RAW released his first project titled 1 LIFE 2 LIVE. Not even a week after therelease, a promoter heard his material and he was asked to join "The Dirty South Tour", at this point he started gracingstages in Cities and States, such as: Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Atlanta, Florida, etc... Only being a fewweeks into the tour he was offered his first solo deal.
On his way to New York to enter into negotiations with {Cannot Name*}, indeed things were clearly changing for thebetter in his career and RAW was never happier, he could often be heard around the studio discussing his business plans afterhe signed his contract. However as fate would have it. due to unexplained internal problems at the label, the deal fellthrough. RAW was no stranger to these situations, the same thing happened with his old group "Prisoners of War" whichamazingly lost out on three major deals, it seemed as if something always prevented his success.
Even though disappointment was clearly seen by his peers, RAW still kept his head up and did what he does best, He "kept itmoving". With 1 LIFE 2 LIVE still hot at the time, it got the attention of a certain Major label in New York, however thiswas a different situation all together, everything was perfect! The Results were clear and RAW's dreams weren't shattered foronce in his life. EVERYTHING IS A GO! The Plan has been set in motion ever since, and the rest is history.
As for the present, still a true artist and a true music lover at heart, RAW is doing an Independent release on his own labelL.E. Series Entertainment titled "Understand Me" for everyone that waited for him and always supported him, this is also amethod to get out thoughts, songs, and ideas he's had throught this time. The album is almost finished and ready for release,he's also working on various film projects, Stay tuned.
theR.A.W has been doing shows and making guest apperances all over New York, Philly, Jersey, Deleware, Camden and the DirtySouth. Has been featured on a countless number of TV, Video and Radio shows. ---
