About Me

So this is it, huh. Finally got myself a "myspace account". Haha, you can all save the applause, really. You knew it was eventually going to happen. If I know or knew you, and you know or knew me... hit me up sometime. I live a stop and go life just like most of us are living right now, especially since I moved out on my own. I've lost touch with alot of people but it's nothing personal. If you're one of those people, sorry about that. Life's too short to hold grudges, so don't hold one. On a more positive note, I'd like to hear from people that I was down with throughout my life so far so don't be a stranger and say what's up -peace

My Interests

Skateboarding, my first passion. Artwork in any form. Music in many forms. Conversations that go somewhere. Freestylin over beats. Learning something new everyday.

I'd like to meet:

living and not living (in no particular order): Big L, Vincent Van Gogh, Jim Morrison, The Beetles, RJD2, Copywrite, Cage, EL-P, DJ Shadow, Radiohead, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, I could keep going...

Music:

Hip-hop is my forte and underground is where you'll find me. Most people don't understand how knowledgeable I am with hip-hop, it's culture, and how it's influenced certain aspects of my life nor do they know just how deep it's roots really are... even though I think the tree is dying. I listen to artists I mentioned above and there are too many more to name. I grew up on classic rock through my mom, the 70's funk, disco, and soul era, and 80's and 90's alternative, indie, and experimental rock. So during any given day, you can find RJD2, The Who, The Mars Volta, Interpol, Madlib, and even some Miles Davis if need be. Whatever it is, if it's good, I'll give it a shot. Just make sure the music's true to itself.

Movies:

Anything that breaks conventional ways of going about making movies. Indie movies that can only be seen at select theatres. I think most movies today are being produced without any extreme sense of authenticity or boundary-breaking ideas that would encourage me to go and spend ten bucks on a movie ticket, you know? Once again, too many to name. But something along the likes of A Clockwork Orange, Vanilla Sky, Waking Life, Gangster No. 1, Fight Club, Rules of Attraction, Kids, Gummo, just messed up, graphic, artistically aesthetic movies that you might not want to watch...or maybe you do or have.

Television:

Can't tell you, I lost track of tel-"lie"-vision years ago ever since the media continued to feed us nothing but garbage in the form of reality TV shows, those marriage shows; MTV has lost alot, if not all, of it's character. Does the news count? I don't even like watching the news either because it's usually nothing extremely positive. And if it is, it's usually followed with a recent murder or another car bombing. Hah, go figure.

Books:

I can honestly tell you, I cannot read for long periods of time for the life of me. Maybe five pages, but then I have to go back and re-read. It just doesn't work. Honestly, my life's moving too fast right now for me to sit down and read. The world is my book and I'm in the process of reading and writing it.

Heroes:

My parents for raising my bastard ass right. Today's children are doomed, I swear. I am my own hero. I am a superhero. Batteries not included, though.
