Downtown New York Producers, Players, Remixers, DJ's
Locked is the production/musician team of Robb Hart and Brad Worrell (aka Brad Goop). The two have been working musicians since well before their colloaboration began. Robb toured much of Europe and the States in Rain Still Falls (Watermark Recordings). Brad was the chief songwriter and guitarist for The Goops (Warner/Reprise) touring with Rancid, Offspring and Garbage and appearing on MTV's Beavis & Butthead and 120 Minutes as well as the Mallrats soundtrack. After The Goops, Brad became producer/guitarist/songwriter with the 2nd incarnation of NYC's Clowns for Progress aka CFP (Flipside/Last Beat).
Since forming their alliance and scrambling their brains at the infamous TWILO, the two realized the best rules about creating music are not having any and have since been creating their own music and remixing that of others including J-Kwon, Usher, Faithless, Jeannie Ortega, Butthole Surfers, Adema and Babyface. They've also produced up and comers such as Borialis, Mike Down and Y (Yoav). Their first white label 12" was released thru the Top Shelf Recordings label in 2002 which has been played on the Terrace of Space and at the closing party of Vinyl / ARC. Some of their original compositions have also been licensed for national TV spots for Panasonic, Reeses, and G-Shock.Locked are currently hard at work finishing there first full length "7 Daze in New York City" telling a story of clubbing in NYC for 7 days straight. "Broken Disco" one of the album's tracks, has already been remixed by Scumfrog , Astro & Glyde and DJ Fame and can currently be heard on some of NYC's biggest dancefloors.
