Born and raised in the mid-west T-Boyds sermon will bless your ears with his demanding ability to mesmerize the crowd and control microphone. Though this Kansas City natives love for hip-hop has been life-long, his music career didnt spark until 2003 when he began to feature on local mix tapes around Baton Rouge, Louisiana. T-Boyd faced trauma early in his childhood when his father was killed while he was only four years old. Despite the situation he was always a very intelligent child. The work ethic he gathered from watching his mother work everyday has set the pace in which he pursues his music career. I remember being in the fi rst and second grade spitting Doug E. Fresh lyrics to my classmates at recess. After high school T-Boyd served three years in the United States Army fi eld artillery branch. After life as a soldier in Fort Hood, Texas he moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication from Southern University. I was amazed at how witty and creative my favorite rap artists were. I would listen to songs over and over again, until I could sing along with every line.; College was only a three and a half year venture for T-Boyd, but during that time he made his mark. He maintained a 3.4 GPA and became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity Inc., where his stage name T-Boyd drew its origin. While in college he became infamous for being the ultimate party animal. His charisma and his go hard philosophy laid the foundation that created the artist we see today. As I grew older and began to understand the business side of the industry I gravitated toward the business savvy artist/entreprenuers. I dont even consider myself a rapper ... Im a business man that happens to know how to rap. In September 2004 he founded Sewed Up Entertainment, LLC., a multi-dimensional media and entertainment group, where he is scheduled to release his debut album Smart Decision. His lyrics will guide you through the thoughts and experiences of a young man from a very harsh childhood, to put himself in a position to set and reach all of his goals. Smart Decision will give hip-hop fans a blazing album, while pressing them to make the choices that will better their lives. "Life is direct result of the choices you make.
