A melodic acoustic song written and performed by Trevor Speed and Jonathan Fotino. A short, simple song. We will be sure to update it later due to some recording errors and the recording source itself (after all, it's just a demo!)
Fried Chicken
A funny joke song, intended to sound idiotic and shitty. We just thought we'd put it up for laughs. (It took us like 20 minutes to make, it's just plain grotesque!)
On Wings of Ash full guitar
A full length guitar sample of a song that is in progress. We hope to have the full song up soon, but this is just to get the basic sound of the song. It mixes a soft, gentle vibe followed by a more heavy follow-up.
These are not our fully-fledged album songs (except for On Wings of Ash, which is still in progress). The other two are just demo/ joke songs. We will be recording for the next few months and working to put up some new music so you can all get a taste of what Infektyd really sounds like. So just sit tight!

Infektyd was started in late 2005 by band members John Whitaker (former Drums/Percussion) and Trevor Speed(Vocals/Guitar). After being influenced and driven by music all their lives, they decided to start the band. Both had gone through rough childhoods and found that the band sessions took their minds of the pain of their lives. About a year later, Jonathan Fotino joined Infektyd (after being rearranged several times).He was accepted in the group as their primary singer/secondary guitarist. Shortly after that Eli Tinsley picked up a bass and the band was finally formed.
Kyle Christian was formerly a member of the band, but after constant struggles and many confrontations, he seperated from the rest. He shared a different outlook on music and the reason behind the band itself.
John Whitaker, another former band member, was regretably lost due to family matters and other personal issues. It was a sad loss for the band as well as the members in it. However, he is still a great drummer and is still kickin' ass. "Even losing him from the band won't keep him from sleeping on my couch", said Trevor.
Most of the songs written were influenced by the lives of the four friends and provides a view on the outlook of each member. Scathingly raw, gritty, and sometimes poetic, Infektyd's lyrics and music provide a look on the animosity and darkness that is the human form. Songs of brutal truth and honesty about the cruelty and malice of the world mixed with the strong message that there is good in us all, Infektyd is unparalleled. Nick (being a huge fan of all metal and rock bands), Trevor (being a huge fan of Slipknot), Jonathan (being a huge fan of metal, including Job For A Cowboy), and Eli (being a huge fan of literally all music) all believed in the concept that music can take people away from the hectic and hellish struggles of life.The music mixes it's line-up with hardcore metal, industrial, and some softer, melodic songs, each of which is individually mastered to deliver a first-hand perspective of the band itself. The music is considered today Nu Metal, but considered by the members of the band to be "pure, true, heavy metal".
Recently, Infektyd has been looking for a new guitarist. Anyone with experience or a desire to play,feel free to message us. For now, we will work with what we have and eventually get back on track. Thank you to everyone who continues to support us! Family, friends, and fans alike.

Trevor Speed, the primary guitarist/secondary vocalist for the band, was born in Arlington, Washington and moved to Lake Havasu, Arizona at an early age. Some of the first bands he loved were AC/DC, Van Halen, Korn, Metallica, and Motley Crue. After being influenced by music greatly, he decided to learn to play the guitar. From there, the band was born.
(((((Jonathan Fotino)))))
Jonathan Fotino started out as the bassist for the band, but was kicked out not long after joining because of lack of experience. But, after becoming more involved in music as a whole, he was reintroduced into the band as the primary vocalist/secondary guitarist. Jonathan has been influenced and driven by music all of his life, from listening to classic rock, to metal, to even harcore and death metal. He once said "Metal is music. Everything else is shit." He is a crucial part to the band and a loyal fan of all music.

Eli Tinsley is the bassist of the band. He was greatly influenced by music all his life and after being friends with all three other band members for years, he decided to join Infektyd. He took up bass and has been the bassist ever since. He is a great musician and a loyal friend and member of the band.

Justin Penkis is the drummer of the band. He is the newest installment and is bringing new material to the table. With excellent drumming experience and a blastbeat worthy of the gods, he will be a crucial part to this four piece band. He became interested in music at an early age as well, being a huge fan of virtually every metal and hard rock band. He is a loyal friend to all the other 3 members and has a passion for drumming like no other..
