About Me

'I don't look at myself in the mirror because I'm a narcissist, I simply like to watch myself exist.'"An intelligent man is sometimes forced to be drunk to spend time with his fools." - HemingwayI am Scott; I am many things but not a liar. I have lied, I sometimes do lie due to imperfections, but for the majority of the time I am honest. The respect for honesty is an acquired taste. Many people say they want the truth and then are offended by it, I will continue to serve it on a silver platter to those who ask, and many that don’t. I’m straightforward with my thoughts and opinions. If you disagree with me, cool I still respect you even if you don’t respect me. When arguing two opinions, two people are right. When arguing opinion versus fact, someone will be wrong, thus proving that just because it’s an opinion doesn’t mean it’s always right. I’m a perfectionist, a task must be done right, or there is no point in doing it in the first place. My life is always good; it’s called being an optimist. I live to smile, and nearly constantly do so. I’m very opinionated so it can cause drama, I’m not out to start fights but due to the fact that seemingly the majority of people my age contribute to the ignorance of the world, people may get offended. At times I am fed up with the many ways society has conditioned us to think, feel, and act. I don’t want to tell people what to think, just too actually think. Analyze your behavior, are you acting a certain way just to fit in, or just because you’ve been told its how you’re ‘supposed’ to act? If the statement ‘be true to yourself’ was clichéd, then people would be heeding its advice instead of conforming. Never compromise your beliefs. Be willing to take the heat from those that doubt, criticize unconstructively, and nit pick. Because when it comes down to it, if you can brush off ignorant remarks and peer pressure, then you’re already miles ahead of the majority of people in life. 'Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead.'
