I love being outside and exploring what is around me. Steamboat Springs is amazing and I can't believe how fast three years has gone by. I grew up in the Northwest in the City of Bridges, Portland, Oregon. I turned 28 in October and am in my 6th year in Colorado. Steamboat Springs is home, for now, but who really knows whats going to happen. I moved here with a 2 year plan, which then turned into a 5 year plan and now I'm just not sure when I might leave. I recently decided to open my own private practice, nothing to fancy, just me, a table and my hands. I would love to grow it into a full scale clinic, but Steamboat is saturated with physical therapists. If I can make it work, I just might be here indefinitely.I've been a skier my entire life and am stoked on the coming winter after missing the record setting snow last year while recovering from surgery. Skiing, mountain biking, hiking, camping in and around Steamboat is how I like to spend my time, although I find myself spending an excessive amount of time at local bars lately now its football season (GO HAWKS!).I'm a practitioner of Goju-Ryu Karate under Sensei Chinen as a member of Jundokan International based out of Spokane, Washington x 8 years. I practice orthopeadic physical therapy and have a strong interest in the human body, motion, and kinetics. I find that practicing Karate has helped build my understanding and appreciation for the complexities of human body. It gives me focus and an outlet when clutter of life gets int he way.
