"I May Be A Real Bad Boy, But Baby I'm A Real Good Man !" - Tim McGraw
Howdy Y'all, I'm Storm Davis, but you can call me Stormy. I'm half-Redneck and half-Italian, and yeah it's that type of Italian. I'm what would happen if you broke into a science lab and mixed the DNA of Cowboy Bill Watts, The American Dream Dusty Rhodes, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The American Badass The Undertaker and Terry Funk, not nessecarily the talent, but we are all a bunch of Southern LOUD MOUTHS !!! But don't break into a science lab, they tend to get pissy about such things. XD When I'm around you can bet your ass, that anything can and might just happen !!!=======================================It all started in 1983, I started helping set up and take down the ring for Cowboy Bill Watts' Mid-South Championship Wrestling. In 1986 I stared doing the same for the original NWA. Also in this time area I turned 18, got bonded and started carrying robes and belts to the locker room. I really started to learn things here, as I got to spend more and more time back stage. I always tried to stay under the radar and not really be noticed, I treated the stars like regular people, just used good old southern hospitality. In 1988 the Crocketts sold part of the company to Ted Turner and I guess I had been labeled "fixture" 'cause I went with the lamps and tables and was doing more with the new WCW. The hard work, take no shit, attitude I had did me good because I was asked to start covering more of the mid-west helping run ring crews and in the backstage at house shows. When I turned 21 I was driving a 4-door Chevy Blazer, so I started driving the guys around after shows to the bars and clubs, kind of a designated driver, kinda. =D It wasn't long before I worked the occassional tv taping or ppv, and did a LOT of work on those, three or four times the work, with all the entrances and all. This was also the time when I met one of the 4 people in the business I truly despise, and love doing it. "Little Erica Pissoff" or Eric Bischoff as others know him, what a JERK. I always treated the people like good friends instead of superstars, not sucking up and/or acting like a mark, and it really did me good. I worked for WCW here in the mid-west all the way up till 8 months before vince bought it out. During that time I lived for 2 years in south Florida where I worked for one of the versions of Florida Championship Wrestling, where I actually had my formal training from Liz Chase and her assisstant instructor Flex Armstrong, GREAT TIME ! There I worked for, what would become, one of my best and most trusted friends in the business BILL BROWN. When I returned to Missouri, I was asked to join World Legion Wrestling as the Road Manager, it was there that I first worked closly with Harley Race, we had met several times in passing in WCW when he managed Big Van Vader and Lex Luger. This was also when I first met Carl Louer, who is also now one of my most trusted friends. When that company broke up, Harley Race took all of the quality pieces and created World League Wrestling and it is still going strong today. About 6 months after it started I worked for Harley for 6 years, and in that time Harley became the best friend I've ever had, I will never be able to repay his friendship and all that he has taught me. I left wrestling for 4 years and concentrated on Commercial Real Estate, but still kept up with friends, going to shows when I could. Now that I am the Co-Commissioner of South Atlantic Wrestling, I am Officially back with my 2nd Family and DAMN proud to be HOME !!! I'm NEVER leaving this business agian, it's in my blood and I love it and the fans too much. Before next years CAC Reunion I hope to have some very big news. Until then I look forward to each and every show. IF Y'ALL HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, FEEL FREE TO ASK !!! Stay Cool Y'all !!!
