ETB Band

ETB...the greatest band that never was.

About Me

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, (The year 2000 in a town called Starrucca) a rag tag band of musicians converged upon Island Lake Camp. Their mission was to teach young children the way of the song. Not only did they do that, but in their free time, they formed their own musical unit know affectionately as ETB. ETB stands for "Early To Bed", THE worst punishment you can bestow upon a young camper. These musicians all came from extremely different and diverse musical and cultural backgrounds. The 18 year old british master lead guitar player with a flare for southern rock, the baptist native american pianist with a soft side, the enigmatic rough and tumble New York City rocker, and the Texas by way of brooklyn maharaja. Though stylistically different, they agreed on one thing:Rock N Roll. Hours were spent jamming the blues. Numbers like Jimi Hendrix's "Red House" could last for hours. Live shows included covers from such acts as REM, Bob Dylan, The Band, John Williams, Aerosmith, and Iggy Pop. As all good things do, ETB came to an end. Time and circumstance ruled all. Now six years later, we are trying to rekindle the magic and get back together and do some collaborating and some shows. ****Some notes on the songs above. "The Floor Song" was recorded live one take to a tascam machine, written by Fred Abbott, Brad Clonch, Josh Taylor and Joel Griffin "Autumn's Song" was written by Brad Clonch and produced by Josh Taylor. "Camp Ho" is a snippet of a track we did live but never got to put down on tape. Enjoy and keep in touch! ETB!!!
