The Starboard

I don't mean to complain, but it has been tough for me. I try to put up this tough, bachelor, looking for the "right now" girl demeanor, but really I'm ready to settle down. A lot of times people don't look past my wood floors, only seeing the splinters, and simply use me for one night stands. What I'd really like to do is cuddle someone on one of those hot summer nights, but everyone's in such a rush to get a little slice from Mama Celeste with absolutely no regard to my feelings. Without a doubt, November to March is my lowest time of year. No one writes, or bothers to call, but just expects me to welcome them back, all smiles, no questions asked, for a quickie on December 31st! Things aren't all bad though, I do have a pretty well known reputation and a loyal staff - I don't know what I would have done without the monopoly guy these past few years.
