First off. I'm a dork. I was born a dork and have been a dork all my life. Everyone I've ever been friends with or am related to has, at one point or another informed me of this. I am OK with my dorkiness. I hope y'all are too.I'm an 8th generation Texan (Brazoria)and kinda proud of it. My Great Grandmother was the First Lady Sheriff of Texas, Brazos County. I have her picture and obit in my pictures section....have a look. I am fasicinated by history and sometimes bright shiney objects. I like cold beer and really hot mexican food. I am honest and I think I am honest with myself. I like to take pictures. I love animals. I believe that kindness is a virtue, not a weakness and more people should try it. I worked in the West Texas oilfields just long enough to realize that I wasn't going to be 25 forever. I was in the Navy for 21 years, 1 month and 26 days (not that I was counting). I have to say the last 5 years were just horrible for me and my family, the personal sacrifice of leaving your family for 6 months every 18 grew very tiresome. I am really glad to be back living in Texas. I never realized how much I missed Texas until I moved back. In the last 5 years I have really learned to embrace my Inner Texan and I must say I am enjoying it emensley.Have a look at my photographs, here:
