About Me

layout by jordanNICOLE

"I am a working freelance actor, and presently a member of the Acting Company at Trinity Rep in Providence, RI. Any other information...just ask! I have no secrets. I was born and lived in New Orleans thru high school. All of my family is still/was there.""I lived in Minneapolis, went to graduate school, and worked for several years in local regional theatres. Six years ago I moved to NYC, and now split my time between New York/Providence(primarily Providence). I have traveled quite a bit as a result of my work, but am happy to be in a supportive community and a resident member of a first class regional theatre. Yes, I am a performer. I love what I do for a living. I was well on my my to becoming an attorney..thank God that did not happen. Nothing against lawyers, but acting forced me to deal with my life, my isssues, my fears and has encouraged me to be fearless. I am happy with the person the my worked has allowed me to become. That man is open, honest, optimistic, loving, and loyal. I am a dreamer. I demand the best from and for myself...sometimes I try too hard, but that's a trait I am willing to live with. So far, having that kind of drive has worked for me. In other situations , I am continuing to learn how to simply "let go." What I am encouraged by is my love of the process called "living life"...a "result" is sometimes not as important as the lessons learned along the way. This philosophy keeps me open to new experiences and possibilities. The future seems bright...let's see what happens."
