Nuala

About Me

Nuala is a singer/songwriter born and raised in North London, now living in Hertfordshire, but with roots grounded in her Irish/Spanish parentage. Previously a member of South London based bands Melontribe and Scary Big Fish, she has established herself as a respected songwriter and solo performer with appearances at acoustic venues around central London and on radio.

Her songs present an exciting fusion of styles, combining her love of melody with a desire to write challenging and sometimes cynical lyrics. Borrowing a folk-tinged Celtic vibe from her Irish father, and a fiery Latin influence from her Spanish mother, her songs are nothing if not passionate. This is evident in her live appearances, performing either alone with her guitar or accompanied by a diverse band of talented musicians.
