I was born to satisfy...
Fell out my mama in the Philippines then started my world tour when I moved to GUAM at the tender age of 1. Grew up on that beautiful island wanting to be a film maker since my dream of playing for the LAKERS was a longshot. Then I saw the 20/20 docu on KISS and that made me want to rock out... dress up and play killa' music. So I rocked out on my sister's Yamaha classical. Finally got my first axe a FENDER STRAT ELITE that I still use to write songs with.
Moved to LA and ended up graduating with a Construction Management B.S. Went to GIT and had private lessons with Paul Gilbert and Bruce Boulliet. Worked in construction management for a few years then decided to start a small business venture wholesaling handicraft items. After a few years I had to get back to my passion for music. I wanted to write and sing and perform again. Unfortunately I had a woodworking accident and almost lost 2 fingertips. I can't play like I used to but try my best to get my fingers to project the music in my soul.
I went to MI for their Recording Engineer Program and graduated Dec 2005. Made great friends and was one hell of an intense and gratifying experience. After a trip from being with my soulm8 in Makati, Philippines I got a call from my cousin Bernard that a friend of his was looking for a guitarist. Ended up getting the gig and now I'm playing with the Inland Empire's killa group: My Heroine Band. We will be recording our EP soon so come check out our shows. www.myheroineband.com
Currently I play an Ibanez RG and a purple REYES YZK axe I put together with the help of Karl Sandoval. Thats my SKANKERS guitar and has my fave neck. All my axes sport the number 8... my props to KOBE.
It has been an incredible journey and since joining the band it looks like a new chapter is starting for me. My folks are my heroes, my daughter is my inspiration, and my ANNE makes everyday worth living and loving to the fullest.
Can't wait to make the movie...
