My family, music, photography, scrapbooking, my Arbonne business, reading, sewing, astrology, Fenton Art Glass, flower gardening, words, giftedness, child development.
John Lennon, Mark Twain, Ayn Rand, Marlon Brando, but they're all dead so I'll go with Bono (and I honestly think that if I were to meet him I would fall to my knees and start crying--I am that pathetic), Steven Spielberg, Paul McCartney, Don Henley, Rita Davenport, and Tom Hanks. Anyone who is nice and has a positive attitude about life, who isn't quick to spread hopelessness or anger, and who understands that there is more to life than what is in their own backyard.
I have never been able to decide who is my "favorite": The Beatles or U2. They should have a showdown to ultimately win my heart. Once, at the R&R Hall of Fame, I touched Bono's suit from the "Zoo TV" tour and got giddy over it... I felt so one with him. (No pun intended.) I used to want to marry Eddie Vedder, but I got over it. I love Barry Manilow and I don't care who thinks he's uncool. Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Clint Black, George Strait, and Tim McGraw. T-to-the-O-to-the-Double-D-X. Melissa Etheridge rocks pretty hard. R.E.M., The Cure, Depeche Mode. Before I wanted to marry Eddie Vedder, I wanted to marry Don Henley. I still think he's sexy. When I think of more maybe I'll add them.
Steven Spielberg. Francis Ford Coppola. Martin Scorcese. Stanley Kuberick. Cameron Crowe. It's easier to name my favorite movie makers than favorite movies. Oh, and don't forget Marty DiBergi.
"Now we got here in the state of Louisiana what's known as the Napoleonic code. You see, now according to that, what belongs to the wife belongs to the husband also, and vice versa... It looks to me like you've been swindled baby. And when you get swindled under Napoleonic code, I get swindled too and I don't like to get swindled..."
The Shield, The Sopranos, Lost, Dr. Phil, and Blue's Clues. And I will watch a re-run of Little House on the Prairie any day of the week.
The Fountainhead, Slaughterhouse-Five, The Happiest Baby on the Block (Thank God for that book...), The Happiest TODDLER on the Block (DOUBLE thank God for THAT one), anything by Frank McCourt, John Steinbeck, or Dr. Seuss.
My mom and Morgan Spurlock.
