In mid 2003 a new band emerged from Germany's Ruhrpott area music scene. Tired of the deadlock their old band ran into, Thomas, Jonas and Christian decided it was the right time for something fresh, more heavy and without any compromises. Quickly they were joined by Norman, Mirko and Patrick Temme. FMH was born.
By the end of 2003 a first three-track demo CD was recorded, distributed for free mainly in digital form - as the band was discontented with the overall sound of the recordings. Although the CD was widely appreciated, soon the band had to face the first setback in their still young history as Patrick had to quit because of occupational reasons. Replacement was found in Jens who joined just two weeks before the first show an excellent choice as it would turn out later, as he perfectly fits in as a person as well as with his ideas in songwriting.
During the following months FMH developed an unique style in combining melodic death metal guitar riffs with brutal hardcore breakdowns, turning the band into something the local hardcore scene today for many cannot be imagined without. Shows played include support for acts like Most precious blood, Personal vendetta, Enemy ground, Six ft. ditch, Turmoil, Action, To kill, Ashema, Fall of a season, Curl up and die, Neaera, Zero Mentality, Mort and Clobberin Time and there is no end in sight.
Now, in 2009, after 2 CDs and a shitload of amazing shows, nearly all members of the original lineup left the band (except Jens and Norman). But don't worry guys! With our actual 5-piece Package, we're tougher, louder and stronger than ever and we'll come for you, to destroy your city and your fuckin' myspace friends!
