My family.
Mary Corleone
I was born and raised in New York, New York, born to Kay and Michael Corleone. As a young girl I wasn't as exposed to my father's life of crime as much as Tony was, so developing a genuine love for my father. I learned early to accept the fact that he wasn't always around me much, but I always had Tony.
When my parent's divorced, I was still fairly young, we were torn apart, not being able to see our mother for awhile, then it was settled that for the better of our education, we were going to live with our mother. So by that time, I was seeing less and less of my father.
As an older woman I founded the Vito Andolini Corleone Foundation, for the poor and destitute of Sicily, making over 100 million dollars in one year, mostly funded from the Vatican, given at the reception for my father's Papal Honor. That same day I had come into better acquaintence with my cousin Vincent.
After seeing much more of Vincent, I later learned to love him, only to find out that we could never be together due to the dangers of his business. I immediately blamed my father, for bestowing the title of Don to Vincent, would be condemning our relationship. That same night, at my brother's opera in Sicily, I was shot in the liver, in an assassination attempt on my father.
