The Official Biography of J-Biz-R of the Dented Mindz
J Biz R (Joshua Bleen) has been producing music professionally since 2004. Working under his own self empowered label Dented Mindz Productions he is a promising newcomer to the rap scene.
Growing up with his poetic mother (Betty Bleen) as a major influence, he started writing poetry when he was only fourteen years old. Heavily influenced by his mothers poetic creativity, he found his own passion for the pen and pad.
Having moved around a whole lot growing up, he was forced to be placed in and out of many different school systems and environments. Touring through out many of the southern and mid-west states left him with lots of road time to express his creativity..
Having a natural rhythm he started taking top chart artist singles and mixing them. Using a multi track line stereo, he would mix one songs lyrics over another songs beat. Thus discovering his musical talents.
In 2001, nearing the end of his high school career, he and his freestyle buddies decided that if they ever did start a rap group, It was to be called Dented Mindz. It was the best name that represented the whole rap style that was encountered. Eventually parting ways the idea was pushed to the back burner.
Finally, in 2004. J Biz R still interested in music, writing lyrics to every mainstream instrumental he could get his hands on, invested in the equipment needed to start making his own beats and he finally had his own personal home studio. Doing many projects as practice, he stacked up a lot of material including multiple solo albums and a group album.
In early 2005, working with the two other members of the group, he produced their first full album Faction Or Fict.Available to download for free online at:

It was just to be given out as a preview, to let people see what was coming their way.
In 2006, Bizzy put his first official solo project together featuring the other members of Dented Mindz entitled Official Bizzness

In 2006 Amerikan Violence hit the streets and local record stores. Produced by J Biz R, this was their first album that was officially pressed up and sold in various parts of the country. Shortly following their AV release, one of the members left the group.
Down to only two members they decided to just put out all the pre- recorded material created with the third member on a mixtape. Deep Underground Mixtape Vol. 1 was only sold on the streets of the ATX and at live shows. It contained a mix of original songs and hi-jacked beats.
October, 31st 2006. J Biz R released his first solo EP. A Dark Night In Hell is available at Austin record stores and at live shows.
This was the prelude to The Terror Tapez, his more wicked style of rap over dark and entrancing beats.
Halloween 2007 marks the release of the first of his series of albums entitled The Terror Tapez Vol.1.
Containing more of that dark and wicked style that ya'll know and love.
J Biz R vowz to release an album every halloween until the day he retires... And from the look of things, it won't be happening for a long time to come.
On Veterines Day, Nov. 11th, 2007. J Biz R released a full length Mixtape entitled ' Mind Bendin' '.Containing all Hi-Jacked beats from well known Industry Artist.
Because of the nature of its contents.
