About Me

I'm a retired soldier who enjoys talking about political, international, and environmental issues, though not to the point of namecalling. I consider myself a moderate only because many of my views would be considered Democratic and many would be considered Republican. I don't claim affiliation to either political party, as a result. I believe both parties have become too much like religions, while at the same time selling their souls to special interest groups. They no longer represent the American people, but their own self interests.

Angelina Jolie, Anderson Cooper and Lou Dobbs.Who I'm not interested in meeting is anyone who intends to convert my Comments section into a billboard for selling ringtones, Gucci purses, Viagra, or any other commercial product. Additionally, if you ask to be my friend, but when I go to your profile I find that you are trying to direct me to a commercial site, you will get rejected.Please don't be offended if I ignore your invitation to become a member of your Mafia Mob or your Special Forces unit or whatever, but I'm not really into games. And I certainly didn't set up this site for that purpose.

Iran is the only country in the world that 'officially' executes children. According to the United Nations, a child is a person under the age of 18. Despite the fact that Iran has signed International Covenants that forbid them to execute anyone who has allegedly committed an offence before the age of 18, they continue to do so. Since 1990, Amnesty International has recorded 24 executions of child offenders and over the last couple of years the rate is increasing. Currently, there are at least 75 minors on death row in Iran. Time is of the essence. Together we will make them STOP the execution of minors!
