..I have black curly hair. I pluck my eyebrows. I have my father's nose, my mother's hands. I have crooked teeth & brown eyes. I used to play guitar, but that was years ago. I like the color of dawn. I dance when I'm happy. But my hair is still curly & my teeth are still crooked & I probably won't always like the color of dawn.I have firm breasts. I have lips that always smile. I have veins that bleed. I laugh when I'm nervous. I feel the pain of others...but I cry for no reason. I like rain. I've been selfish for a lot of times in my life. I'm from the land of promise, but I hate the war. I've cheated on diets. I've faked gladness. But I still bleed & my lips still smile & my breasts won't always be firm. I have strong shoulders. I have tan skin. I have a unique face borrowed from my grandmother. I have long nails on my left hand which break regularly. My middle toe is strange. I write. I used to make garlands from roses. I brush my hair before bed. I cheated on tests. I faked flirtatious American accents. But I still have tan skin & my nails still break & I probably won't always have strong shoulders & I may not always write. But maybe I'll start making garlands from roses again.
