Jazz has oft been a shadow. 'When I was young' I played in several jazz-rock bands namely Solitude, Lynx and England's National Sport (all based in Liverpool). I started following the paths of Van Leer and Focus and eventually moved onto Bruford , Brand X, U.K. and Weather Report. In more recent years I developed a friendship with Robin Lumley and at one point i nearly joined a reformed Brand X we even had a fax from Mr Collins....but it was not to be. I decided a few months back to take a slightly more laid back look at this genre of music incorporating both my ambient side and some of the tricks I had learned from messrs Holdsworth ,Zawinul and the like. I hope you enjoy the snippets as per usual these are just 4 small excerpts from the completed CD. Also the photo currently being used will be replaced as soon as the new artwork is complete.
