Emil Johnsson better known as Emilio is not your stereotypical rapper.
Being a white rapper from Sweden with all odds against him, Emilio has nevertheless gone all in. This is one artist who does not believe in luck. Hard work and dedication are his main ingredients to success. And one can only respect the grind. So sure of his goals, the young talent laid off college basketball to pursue a career in music. The ambitious artist teamed up with fellow label mate Rebstar in their late teens to build the imprint that would eventually be known as 2fresh. A European label which has since its inception consistently released quality music. Within months, they made their debuts in mainstream music with international hit singles. With an impeccable work ethic, Emilio has thus far recorded over 300 records perfecting his craft in order to put out his debut mixtape White Men Can't Rap. "I work while you sleep you can call me Batman" he fittingly mentions. His debut single Kidnapping Your Love features American R&B singer Bobby Valentino and is produced by no other than Boi-1Da (Drake, Lil Wayne, Dr. Dre) The long-awaited mixtape is slated for a late 2009 release. So while the heavyweights are resting, this underdog is preparing.
