In these silences something may rise. Heat being something.

About Me

I have discovered that my neighborhood is actually a fun place to walk. Also, the fact that the heat index is around 105F, makes it even more exciting when my flip-flops melt to the pavement! Woo! I am very excited about my upcoming leave from work! No more reatil for a while! Yea!!! Oh yeah--and having a baby! No really, I am super looking forward to being a mommy. Every little kick and karate chop from little Harper is a very fun realization that in about 3 months, she will be doing the same thing, but out here in the world with us! Gus the sugar glider is still chilling with his apples and cat food, the husband, Ed, is still in Guam for another 2 months, Albert, the big dog is happy and worm free (thank God), and Gary, the little dog is rolling around in cow crap in Arkansas! What fun! He has also been recognized as being smaller than a giant mushroom in the Mena Star.

My Interests

I am interested in solving mysteries and fighting crime on the streets of Gotham City...and snowboarding...don't forget snowboarding...actually, I don't know how to snowboard. It does look cool though.

I'd like to meet:

Adam Duritz, for making some of the best music imaginable; David Hasselhoff, for being such a good sport; Estelle Getty, for being the best young/old Golden Girl ever (R.I.P.), Jesus...jews need Jesus!, or so i'm told...and the lead singer of Survivor...I wanna punch him in the frickin face...I'd also like to meet Joyce Meyer, the religious author, and ask her how it is possible to repeat the same exact sentence 80 times a chapter, for 17 chapters in 13 books. She makes hella money doing it. Ahh conviction. In reality though, I'd like to get back in touch and "remeet" some folks I've lost touch with over the years.

Music:

Dandy Warhols, some (meaning very little) hardcore, Matis, Counting Crows, Faith No More, Killers, Sublime, Interpol, Farmer Boys, Pixies, Steelheart, Tool, Beatles, Murder by Death, Against Me, Fallout Boy, one song by Panic!, Widespread Panic, Tupac, Bob Marley, Gorillaz, Bloodhound Gang, The Cure, Modest Mouse, Live, The Postal Service, My Chemical Romance, The Verve, Muse, Blue October, Lost Prophets, Fugees, David Hasselhoff (just kidding)(not really kidding), Flogging Molly, Carly Simon, B.I.G., Cherish (their song is awesome!!! if you don't think so, then poo on you!) Blink 182, Rancid, Vandals, The Specials, The Transplants, Voodoo Glowskulls, Save Ferris, Bosstones, Tracey Chapman, Skankin Pickle, Gnarls Barkley, Paul Oakenfold, Sepultura, Pantera, Ministry, Slayer, No Doubt (early years), Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Rent soundtrack (broadway), Hole (before kurt was dead), Sex Pistols, The Ramones, Gwar, Misfits (the real misfits, not the recent poo coming out lately), Nofx (not the sucky schtuff, but the good stuff), Norma Jean, the Breathe song...I can't think of her name, but the song is great!, Hannibal soundtrack, NWA...all of it..yeah, folks, all of it., plus about 27 others. And that sound from the Gieco commercial...the one with the airport...you know the one...

Movies:

heathers--crash--cat people--very bad things--freaks--cabin fever--menace II society--Golden Girls season 1, crash, munich, kiss kiss bang bang, kill bill 1, kill bill 2, rules of attraction, army of darkness, evil dead, evil dead 2, night of the living dead, day of the dead, toy story, saw 1, saw 2, hostel, from dust til dawn, every scorsese movie, every copola movie (except godfather 3 ((his daughter sucks)), every kevin smith movie, except jersey girl; revenge if the nerds, the game, munich, waiting, sin city, pet sematary, carrie, misery, the stand, spun, traffic, blow, edward scissorhands...actually anything by tim burton, anything by tarentino...i think i already said that and...screw it, there are too many more

Television:

simpsons--golden girls--king of the hill--adult swim with the exception of and tom goes to the mayor,...gollygoshgeez..again...too much typing!!! oh yeah, law and order SVU, house, meerkat manor...

Books:

bret easton ellis--irvin welsh--vonnegut (rip 4/12/07)--joyce carol oates--thompson--barth--delillo--pallahniuk--stephen king--weisel--sparks--undiscovered authors represent! i also love richard wright--michael cunningham--davaid sevaris--sun tzu's the art of war--borroughs--ok, and i will admit, i do still enjoy r.l.stine. he lets me take a break from the regular-big-girl-pace of life. especially hawthorne, wilde, and many more.

Heroes:

batman--ron jeremy--che--bea arthur...yeah...that's pretty much it. i heard somewhere that bea arthur owns my soul...i think it was after my purchase of golden girls, season 6. hrmm...my voice has lowered a few octaves since then. also, my pop was the best guy ever to walk the earth...i think everyone thinks that way about their grandpas though...unless theirs wasn't as cool as mine. and i really think ron jeremy is disgusting. especially in andre the butcher. bad movie...but not quite as bad as one called mustang sally's horror house. teeeeeerrible.
