Brown eyes, thick eyebrows, useless without glasses, which have frames which are thick and black. My eyesight was always perfect until I hit the fourth grade, at which point I began to shoot a lazer tag gun into my wide open eye so I could watch the laser mechanism. As a result, my eyes are among the first generation of laser gun casualties.
My doctor initially remarked, "My God, He's blind as a bat!". I had contact lenses for a while. Once, after I stopped wearing them for some time, I found a pair soaking in a lens container, still soaking in the solution. My initial reaction was to wonder when I took them out, and I came up with the idea of putting them back in my eyes so I could see when and where I was when I wore them last. It doesn't work.
My friend Amalia told me once that I was "very sensitive to aesthetic beauty, and so it makes sense that you only date beautiful women." My girlfriend at the time was actually annoyed that I thought it made sense, and now I have a weird thing about being attracted to beautiful women. I usually try to hide the fact that I think the women I'm interested in are beautiful, because I am pretty sure it disqualifies me from any actual interest in them.
My eyes are attracted to light, the colors green, red, and blue, the combination of black, white, and red. My eyes like to read non fiction. They like collections of similar items placed next to each other. They like the art of Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons even if my brain kind of doesn't. My brain eventually started to really like Warhol, though. My eyes have convinced it.
There are some things that make my eyes want to look away. These things include any sort of massively organized structure that emerges from nature: beehives, that cubic rock thing that looks like endless staircases and is usually found in the Earth Store. Certain kinds of reefs and algae. I don't like my nature doing precise math. My eyes tell my stomach to be frightened and nauseated.
