About Me
The Everett House of Comedy is where comedians Tom Dustin, Alvin David and Shawn Donovan currently reside. The house, located 10 minutes north of Boston, is a comic's commune of sorts, always offering shelter to the funny. Our more frequent guests include the the four major vices: Booze, Broads, Gambling and Drugs (A.K.A. the four horsemen of fun); Though we never let any of them overstay their welcome, except booze and gambling.
If you are an out of town comic or mediocre looking woman in seek of refuge, you can count on the EHoC to take you in for the night, free of charge, AND point you in the direction of a B-level comedy club, (provided that you are funny, have references and don't mind sleeping on a floor that has never been washed.) After spending one night at the EHoC, you will owe each EHoC member: free, unlimited room and board, in your home city, valid for a period of 10 years or until we don't need you anymore, (whichever comes first).
To take us up on this offer: Just send us a message that includes your arrival date, a current headshot, a resume/bio, a 7-10 minute dvd of your club set, three (3) recommendations from established booking agents, the name of a mutual friend, and a 100 word essay telling us why we shoudn't make you stay in a youth hostel. And that's it!
