About Me

A bunch of friends got together to create a rockin', funky, soul group to play some of the songs they loved and never saw done up right. The group is a collection mostly of veterans of the St. Louis music scene, including members of The Unconscious, Sinister Dane, The Skalars, Son Of Starchild and others. The song list spans most of the history of soul and 70's funk, from Etta James and Aretha Franklin to Sly Stone and The Funkadelic. With a strong male vocal and three strong female vocalists backed by a funky rythm section, horns, and two guitars, the elements were in place to make some rockin soul music. Check out the groove and let the music fill your soul with the feeling that you've been missing.
