About Me

..This profile was edited with MySpace Profile Editor MySpace Profile Editor
Hello and thanks for reading. First and foremost, I am a musician, primarily a guitar player and singer. I like to rock really hard, but I also play jazz and a bit of flamenco. I used to work at a restaurant called "Max's Opera Cafe" where I built up a vocal repertoire of various lounge-lizard type songs. This did not stop me from rocking, however. I have now transitioned to the life of a working schmoe, working in a corporate office. Luckily, I still have a band and get to rock here and there. I am adventurous, love to travel and I am extremely interested in other cultures and ways of life. I am also a film buff; I love Coppola, Scorsese, Kubrick, Gilliam, Verhoeven, and bad movies from the 70's/80's like Krull, Flash Gordon and Logan's Run. I like a lot of foreign films as well. When I was younger, I had great taste in music (very "underground", "experimental", "hardcore" stuff), but nowadays I listen to Prince and George Michael. I love to talk about politics and religion, which are taboo topics for most people. I love palm-muting, galloping rhythms, double-bass, and pinch harmonics. Having lived abroad, I have my criticisms of America, though I am not anti-american. I think both republicans and democrats, conservatives and liberals, are idiots.
You scored as Death Metal. You are a death metaller! You like growled vocals and blisteringly fast drums. Death to the false metal!

I'd like to meet:

I love nothing more than meeting new people. I'd like to meet people who are interesting, and who share my interests. Musicians, film buffs, world travellers, people that are somewhat odd and a lot of fun. Gente che parla l'italiano, Leute die Deutsch sprechen, y los que hablan espanol.
NO WEBCAM WHORES OR PEOPLE SELLING ANYTHING

You scored as Commander William Adama. You have risen to your position by being damn good at what you do. Not only that, you have the deepest respect for the people under your command. You may be a little grumpy and unapproachable, but every commander needs to distance himself. Shame that you apply that to your children too.

What New Battlestar Galactica character are you?
created with QuizFarm.com

Music:

Metal, Jazz, and Film Music. If you don't love this then I can't help you:

Television:

The Sopranos, Deadwood, Da Ali G Show, Chappelle's Show, Firefly, John Stewart, LOST. New favorite: Battlestar Galactica

Books:

1984, Brave New World, A Clockwork Orange. Mix up some good ol' linguistic playfulness with heavy doses of poly-sci and sci-fi, and you'll have me hooked. I like Tolkien too.

Heroes:

Mike Patton, Robert DeNiro, Samuel L. Jackson

Pat Robertson is completely fucking insane.

I remember, as a small boy, my mother watching The 700 Club.  The show seemed innocuous enough, and Pat Robertson seemed to be a good man with a positive message.  Have you heard what he's ...
