Exsecror its formed in October 2002 with the following line up:
Johan G..mez (Drums)
Diego Ordaz (Bass)
Jes..s Su..rez (Guitar)
Douglas Rangel (Guitar)
Jorge Escribens (Vocals)
During the following next 3 months the band composed 5 of their own songs and
also managed to work on 2 covers from two very well-known bands : Deicide and Cannibal
Corpse. By that time (January 2003) the band decided to start doing some shows.
They did 3 shows in a row at Espacio 2, a bar located in Caracas. After those presentations
the band began to analyze and evaluate their performances. As a result of their
self evaluation they came to the conclusion that the bass was not powerful enough
and things needed to be changed.
After that the band decided that it was time for Diego Ordaz (Bass) to leave. Soon
after, Diego Maestre enters the band, before joining Exsecror this player was the
bassist of Temiga. Thanks to their new member, their constant dedication and the
help from other bands like Mantra and others, Exsecror began to grow and evolve
in regards to their music, this process lasted for approximately one year. During
this time the band performed in the Intercolegial de Rock 2003 and in Espacio 2
where they accomplished all their goals as a band.
In December of 2003 the band decided to record one of their songs so they could
show their work. Thats why they record the single of their song called Bloody Obsession.
Once the recording was done they started to share the new material with fellow bands,
acquaintances and anyone who was interested in their work and wanted to get a hold
of it. In the short run the single received favorable critics therefore the band
decided to push things forward.
After this, one of their old songs Alive Anatomy Lecture gets taken out of the repertoire
but they add 3 new songs. At that time the band had 7 songs and 2 covers. They also
added 2 new covers to the list, one from Vader and another one from one of the best
bands in the country Krueger.
At the beginning of 2005 the bassist, Diego Maestre, had to leave the band because
of certain circumstances that are were out of his reach. Short after, the spot is
filled by Jose Miguel Fuentes the former bassist of the band. By the end of 2005
the band has 9 songs and is in the process of working on their fifth cover, I Will
Kill You by Cannibal Corpse. Currently the band is working on their first album.
