DJ What’s passion for music and life is so infectious, no one can stay off the dance floor even after the lights go on! Music is his life. Growing up listening to 70’s R & B and Du Wop, his obsession with music began early with “My First Sony†portable tape player and microphone. As a kid, he carried the Sony and mic everywhere, always in charge of the music, he was destined to turn the music up and turn the masses out.
What makes him so special? DJ What combines all styles of music and continues to surprise the crowd with original tunes and out of box ol’ school hits. Name it; he can play it; Hip Hop, R & B, Rock n Roll, Electro, Funk, Pop, and everything in between.
DJ What spins the best of the best parties, events, and clubs. He has rocked the turntables at South Beach club’s Skybar, Prive, SET, Mynt, Cameo, Vice, BED, and Snatch. He has spun at NY club's 1oak, Butter, Lotus, Marquee, Home and Kane. DJ What was the premier DJ for the 2007 International Turks and Caicos Film Festival, The One Year Anniversary of the Player Club Casino and Resort in Turks and Caicos and Club Aura in Atlantis Resort.
Where can you find him? He currently holds residencies at South Beach’s top clubs; Thursdays at the Sagamore Hotel and Fridays & Saturdays at Mansion. He is rockin private events and parties at the Raleigh and Sagamore hotels. Basically, DJ What is spinin wherever the people are looking for WHATever reason to celebrate!
