I am with a wonderful man who is the love of my life.. Patrick. He has helped me become the person I am today and since the day I have met him he has been my "cheerleader" in life. He is a nurse at the Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland but now working as a civi in the ICU. We had our dream wedding on 11/10/07 and it was definitely the best day in my entire life. We purchased our first house together a little over a year ago in Clarksburg, MD and are finally starting to decorate it now that the wedding is over. We have a dog named Parker who we are absolutely obessed with. Hes a puggle which is a pug and a beagle.. NOT a pug and a poodle. I call him "my son" and I like to put collared shirts on him. He wears a puffy vest when its cold out, he sits up like a human, goes to a doggy spa when we go away and he sleeps fully under the covers in bed with us at night... People who aren't dog lovers just wouldn't understand. I am a Jersey girl at heart and I miss spending my summers on the Jersey Shore where all I cared about was how tan I was and when the next time I was eating mack and mancos pizza. I was a swimmer for pretty much most of my life and miss being in that kind of shape more than words can explain. I ran a marathon which I can say I am pretty proud of. I swam across the chesapeake bay.... three times. Some people think I am crazy but I hope to eventually train to compete in the Iron Man. I have anxiety about being late.. even if its only 5 minutes. I am an animal lover.. right down to saving a toad hopping across the road. I am obessed with peanut butter but I hate chocolate syrup. The only tv shows I watch have to either do with medicine or murder. Sometimes I stress out about the smallest of things(dishes in the sink). I also care too much about what people think of me. I hate change of plans because I always plan ahead. I absolutely HATE a messy house, but my house is always messy. I am a strong believer in "everyone makes mistakes" so I am a very forgiving person. I love shoes and handbags. I should be a spokeswoman for Target because I buy EVERYTHING there... right down to my underwear. I have learned to enjoy life and not take anything for granted. I don't know what I would do without my family. I have only lived alone once in my life and it was only for 3 months... but I never want to do it again. I recently got accepted back into nursing school- the fun begins in January!! After that, we look forward to moving back towards our families and starting a family of our own!
