About Me

Upon midnight’s hour the moon beckons our hearts to unfold their desires, while in the corner of the room, sounds and silence coalesce from a guitar. Then someone begins to sing or wail, no-one is quite sure and words are difficult to decipher, but lines of folk songs from a different age are heard. The songs play regardless of whether anyone in the room is listening, and someone swears to the Almighty that they can hear the vomiting of skeletones while others begin to believe a catalectic tetrameter of lambs are marching on the moors outside, however no-one can ever ascertain these accusations to be true. And the songs play regardless.NATHAN OCTAVIA 7" EP is soon to be released on TOME records.

Sounds Like: Sounds like a heart has been ripped from a chest, and the bitter woe that tears into his soul has been infiltrated into the music, causing the earth to stand still just for a minute as he tells you of his sorrow. Sounds like the music of a day already gone, and he has let time slip by him, where the music suddenly enters a void that no other has yet been to. Sounds like vomiting skeletones. Sounds like a wish for a life much simpler, and a culture that didn’t revolve around its material riches. Sounds like a nightingale with toothache in the deepest silence.
