I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I try to love life and every second, good and bad. I am a firm believer in the phrase, "Do it right or don't do it at all." I am a hard worker. I feel that sleep is a waste of time, but I also feel that you should get how ever much you need to make the most of your time, otherwise you're simply sleepwalking. I have to say that, at night, there's nothing better than an ice cold glass of milk and a warm chocolate chip cookie: It's the only real hug you can give to yourself, I think. I respect originality in any and every depiction. I am a passionate lover of films and music. I tend to gravitate toward subterranean works because I feel they are the most honest, truthful and giving. I especially adore films that offer insight and fresh perspectives on the human condition (aka. character-driven pieces, and films that share intimate moments with us). Similarly, I enjoy talking to people who don't shy away from freely expressing themselves. However, I carry nothing but contempt for egotistical, narcissistic, selfish people and will not waste my time dealing with their ignorance. I realize we live in a world of social classes, but I'm not so foolish as to believe one person is better than any other. We are all human and should all be treated with the same respect. To me, life is like a vacation. You visit this place that you've always wanted to go, and when you finally get there, there is so much to do and see and you just don't have enough time to take part in it all. And right as you're getting settled, you have to go home.

My Interests

Existentialism, writing, reading, philosophy, acting, film, bookstores/coffee houses, night driving, my supportive friends, meaningful discussions, theatre, cooking, dancing, hockey/soccer/boxing, working out / staying in shape, singing (especially in the shower), world traditions and cultures, traveling, fashion/modeling, taking time out to collect my thoughts and catch up with myself / journal writing, playing live music (guitar, bass, drums), the scent / taste of vanilla, candlelit rooms, self-improvement, poetry, sketching, roses / callalillies, massages (both giving and receiving), yoga / increasing flexibility, learning and analyzing profound life lessons, good-natured-hearted-and-humored people, Chicago Bears (they're My Team), tattoos, billiards.

I'd like to meet:

My wife and kids, though I don't want either for quite some time. Myself in twenty years. My brother, when he was still seven years old. My parents before they had my brother and I. I don't discriminate against time, even though it has a tendency to discriminate against us.What I look for in a friend and, more or less, a person is a strong sense of loyalty, honesty, and trust. A person with not only a brain, but a thought process. A person who has a love for life and people. An appreciation for things more valuable than tangible possessions (have to say, Los Angeles certainly needs a lesson). An air of confidence, but not cockiness. Someone who knows how to love and laugh (at the world and themselves). I think the only healthy relationship is a reciprocated relationship with open, uncensored communication. I look for commonalities, but more importantly I look for indifferences because as fun as it can be to talk about what you know, it's far more interesting to discuss something that you don't and learn from someone in the process. I'd like to meet interesting people with something to say. Something to offer me in thought. That's who I'd like to meet."Originality does not consist in saying what no one has ever said before, but in saying exactly what you think yourself. To be nobody but yourself - in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you feel like everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight, and never stop fighting." ~ e.e. cummings
