Sacrilegio es una banda de heavy metal de San Ysidro California. Con influencias de Pantera, Iron Maiden y Judas Priest. Todo Empezo cuando Luis-guitarra, Nestor-bateria, Roy-bajo, dieron una presentacion en un centro comunitario en San Ysidro. La banda no poseia un nombre asi que solo se le llamo un conjunto de heavy metal. Dias despues David (actual Vocalista) se ofrecio a cantar para el grupo. Hiso la audicion y fue aceptado. La banda solia practicar en la recamara de Luis pero un conocido del grupo ofrecio su hogar para las comodidades de la banda. Mientras practicaban en ese lugar llego un extraño y tocaba el bajo, la banda decidio mandar a Roy a tocar teclados y a Carlos -que acababan de conocer- al bajo. Un mes despues se les hizo la invitacion de tocar en un concierto con Armagedon , Skelator, Kreuze, Deception y Sentinel. Para ese entonces David habia propuesto nombrar a la banda Sacrilegio y despus de discutirlo todos aceptaron. Sacrilegio solo tenia una cancion para esta presentacion asi que se desvelaron la noche previa al concierto aciendo los 45 minutos que se requerian. Despues de alli la banda tuvo otra presentacion junto a Sentinel y Maithreya en la cual casi pierde la vida David. Hubo algunos Cambios en la banda y decidieron remplazar a Roy, por Chou otra tecladista que le puso un toque mas melodico a la banda. Por motivos de estudios Chou no pudo seguir con las presentaciones de la banda y la banda se quedo sin teclados.
Sin embargo este no fue motivo para que la banda dejara de seguir dotando a la gente de mas heavy metal. Asi que decidieron continuar adelante con mas fuerza. Las presentaciones continuaron y asta ahora la banda ha compartido escenario con Komplot , Javier Batiz, Jimmy Sue, Arkhangel, Blindheim, Mota, Esoteric, Fuzz Huzzy, Deformity, Improviso, The Leefs, Blue mind, 4 Grados, Toka Diskos, The degree of destiny, Radio California, y muchas otras bandas. Actualmente Sacrilegio ha tenido que pasar por otra serie de cambios en la alineacion. Carlos ya no toca el bajo para Sacrilegio ahora llena el lugar Jacob un joven con mucha energia y Sacrilegio adquirio a un segundo guitarrista Francisco quien a acompañado a la banda a todas sus presentaciones. La alineacion de ahora es Luis-Guitarra lider, David-Vocales, Nestor-Bateria, Francisco-Guitarra ritmica, Y Jacob en el bajo.
After a few alterations and jam sessions, Sacrilegio(sa-cree-leh-geo), finally has a very firm and heavy(no pun intended) line-up. Hailing from San Ysidro, CA, Sacrilegio is influenced from the classics, Ironmaiden,Judas Priest, to the extreme, Pantera,Testament,Dre, Death,Ramon Ayala, and Transmetal. We really dont have an actual genre, other than heavy metal, but play a wide range of styles, which makes our music different,energetic,spontaneous, heavy, thrashy, etc etc. The current lineup is as follows; Lui on lead guitar,Nestor on Percussions,David on vocals, Carlos on bass, and Francisco on rhythm guitar. Sacrilegio has played many shows, not to be confused with the Sacrilegio from the 80s or the ones from puerto rico, none of that, theres a fine distinction between us all. Our goal as a band is to kick as much ass as possible with other badass bands from around the world and maybe tour. Some of the bands we have shared the stage with include Armagedon, Luzbel, Profecia, Javier Batiz, Ritual Habits, Incantation, Sentinel, among others. Sacrilegio plays almost anywhere, from backyard bashes to bars, to big venues across Mexico and the U.S. We're currently in the process of finding a recording dude or chick, so if you are one and like our music call us!
