In the early 2005, the artist James Ivan, one of the very first pioneers in Myanmar underground metal music scene decided to establish his own music project " Architect Of Misery " a name which is inspired from creationism and impermanence in satiristic approach. He has also played in many bands such as Monopoly, Unrivalled, Loud Sa Lone, Beyond Redemption, ShatterGlass and The Book Of Death etc. Due to his interest towards electronic music and wanting to fill what’s lacking in the Myanmar music scene, he recorded his first four demo songs in futuristic Industrial metal style. The result, an instrumental album fusionized with breakbeats, blastbeats, breakdowns and crushing guitar riffs that people have never tasted before. And each song has it’s own concept inspired from -including but not limited to- sci-fi fictions, politics, spiritualism, natural disasters and humanity. Although he has more plans to accomplish in his musical carrer, he decided to take a break from the music scene to concentrate ..ing his education plans and solving out his personal problems. Currently, this project is on hiatus. However, the artist himself is hoping to come back with more furious and conceptual music someday.
