Also, in no particular order: The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, The Story of Us (I'm noticing a theme, pretty much any film directed by the fabulous Rob Reiner) Napolean Dynamite (I liked it before it was cool to like it!) Mona Lisa Smile, The Constant Gardener, Hotel Rwanda, Schindler's List (ok, another theme, any true to life and incredible story of persecution) Pretty Woman, RENT, Moulin Rouge, What About Bob?, The Notebook, Wedding Crashers, Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail, Flashdance...there are so many I'm missing that I'm just blanking on, but I love movies, you get the picture.
Television:
Umm, so I don't really have time to watch TV, but I love Law and Order (who doesn't) and my particular favorite is SVU: Special Victims Unit. I'm a touch in love with Detective Eliot Stabler. Could he and Olivia please get together already? I also love reruns of ER and Judging Amy. I get hooked on the occasional crap TV: Trading Spaces, Project Runway, A Baby Story, etc, but I could live without them too. (My secret wish? Adopt a british accent and play super nanny!)
Books:
Angela's Ashes, Wicked, Number the Stars, The Devil's Arithmetic, The Art of Loving, Smashed, The Sex Lives of Cannibals, Green Eggs and Ham, The Polar Express, The Giver, Number the Stars, The Chronicles of Narnia, Anne of Green Gables, anything by Plato, No Exit, the list goes on forever and, once again, I can't remember half of them because its 2 am and I'm only doing this now because I'm an insomniac!
Heroes:
Okay, sadly enough, I had no heroes growing up. But currently, my heroes include my undergraduate philosophy professor who is amazing, and anyone bold enough to stand up to the cracked people we have in control of the country right now. That's pretty much it.
