GOTHAM - released their 2 song disk (12 o'clock and) ALL IS WELL/backed with The Witness Stand in 1990, recorded at Praire Sun studios in Cotati California. Receiving positive reviews in America and Europe, they quickly drew a loyal following through the S.F. Bay Area club scene. By 1993 they could not retain proper management or label interest, thus breaking up. The songs , Starshine and She Will Sleep for Years, were pre-production tracks layed down in Sunnyvale, Ca. These two track sound a little rough, unfinished, but some like it that way. Doomed Planet Records released an LP (GOTHAM) a few years back with some of the tastier tracks. I was told by Rob from Doomed Planet that it has since been (sold out). Gothams guitarist Steven D. Rice went on to form and headup the band IMAGIKA, which has several disks to date and tours the states and europe. Bassist Steve Perry still dables in music and fine women. Drummer Dan Lewerenz went on to own and operate a few screenprinting companys, and continues to Rock with his brother Jim Lewerenz-guitar and Steve Perry-bass from Gotham in there new project "APRIL"S DOG" -- "ALLAS" Vocalist Mathew J. Byrom has been found, and living in Northern California, sez he is singing again and "All Is Well"........{}
