About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !
Like any of you strangers really want to know about me.........but if your really bored and have nothing better to do, I'll entertain you for a minute or two.My name is Scott. I am 35 years old, married to Melissa and a daddy of three boys. Their names are Bailey, Brady, and Brayden. (I like to call them "The Killer B's") Lastly but not least, I am a cancer survivor. I am just as proud of that as I am to be a husband and father. Of course if I wasn't a cancer survivor I would be neither a husband or daddy if you follow me on that. ;-)I live in a very small community about 20 miles Northeast of Wichita,Ks....and I mean really small. How small you ask? Well we have no gas station, no convenience store, and our one bank in town has no ATM machine. Heck believe it or not you can't even get cable TV or cellular service here. Amazing how "stone-age" a community just 20 miles from a city of 350,000 is. But I wouldnt have it any other way.....As you can see by the pic (below) of downtown, its quite the happening place...............So I grew up all over the place. Born in Missouri and lived in MO,NM,AZ,TX, and now Kansas. Graduated from Hobbs High School in Hobbs, NM in 1989. I went to UTI in Phoenix, AZ and am currently going back to school at a community college in El Dorado,Ks (Butler CC).......To shorten my bio. I'll just hit the highlights and you can use your imagination to piece it together......Cliff Notes Version 1.0......Jellybeans.... Rock N'Roll.... Wild Women.... That Spring Break in 1994 at South Padre.... Short Prison stint (I keeed, I keeed).... CowBell.... Chuck Norris.... BreakDancing.... CornNuts (Chile Picante flavor).... Chocolate Pie.... a Squirrel... A-1 Steak Sauce.... Las Vegas.... Atlanta Braves.... Texas Tech Red Raiders.... That pretty much sums up my life story.

My Interests

Texas Tech Red Raiders Football andTravel (Since I am in the Travel industry it is a huge interest) Baseball, NFL, I love to cook and BBQ. Of course my family is a huge interest to me also...

I'd like to meet:

If I could meet or have met anyone It would have been Lou Gehrig..

Music:

All over the place... Amazing how when you mature your music taste changes... I like Rock, Adult Contemporary, Adult Alternative, Country, and Christian Rock (I bet you would be amazed how many groups you recognize to that you don't realize they are Christian bands)...Love music, always have a tune in my head.

Movies:

Well as a 35 year old man I can very easily be laughed at about my all time Favorite movie......"It's a Wonderful Life" It has a great message in that no matter how bad you think you have it and wish you had never existed, you have changed peoples lives. ..I like the movie so much I named my oldest son after the main character George Bailey......Ok I named my son Bailey, not George. ..

Television:

Oh God please stop the Reality TV shows before I give myself an eye jabby with a flaming hot fire poker. ....What ever happened to shows that actually have a script, or was not a spinoff of Law & Order ?....Other than that I watch alot of History Channel, Food Network, Sopranos, Las Vegas, and Sports.

Books:

They still print those? As much as I hate to confess I am not much of a book reader. I do read articles in magazines and news stories, but my attention span is not long enough for books.

Heroes:

When I think of hero the first person I think of is my dad. He overcame alot growing up, and made sure his family (mom, my sister and me) never ever was put into a situation that he had to live through growing up. My parents did alot of sacrificing to make my childhood a good one.......I love them for that. Hopefully I can raise my children with the same morals and convictions as my parents raised me.........God Help me with that!
