The Howard Stern Show (join the revolution!), reading, listening to Sirius Satellite Radio, cleaning bathrooms, drinking Ensure, tanning, scrubbing floors, spraying Sun-In in my hair, dentistry. I am currently way addicted to MTV Hits, which has 24 hours of music videos.
All of the Howard Stern family, Bill Clinton, and maybe really go off the nerd-deep-edge and attend some sci-fi conventions. Hey; what can I say? I am a nerd. However, I like to think I don't look like one on the outside. I only wear my glasses in private, and can proudly proclaim that I am NOT A TREKKIE. I want to meet Lauren Graham and ask her how she memorizes all those lines and says them so fast. Plus, I think she has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. This picture of her does not do her justice:
Fleetwood Mac, Rage Against the Machine, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Johnny Cash, Snoop Dogg (he's the man! and he's all about pimpin' and the womenz),Dr. Dre, Paul Oakenfold, DJ Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, DJ Rankin, DJ Irene, and lots more techno, Green Day, The Dresden Dolls, Ciara (because she's hot), My Chemical Romance (select songs and videos), The Killers (ditto), Justin Timberlake (because he's so hot), Pantera, select Tool songs, Wierd Al, 30 Seconds to Mars (I think). Long live White Zombie; my first introduction to METAL and (my first concert) at the young age of 14.
Alien, Aliens (one of my favorite movie EVER) the Indiana Jones trilogy, the Star Wars trilogy, Casino, Goodfellas, Woody Allen movies, much of the sci-fi and horror genre, . I mean, if you're gonna get chopped up, get chopped up nice:David Lynch movies, Permanent Midnight, Slums of Beverly Hills, Atlantic City, Looking for Mr. Goodbar, Resident Evil, The Believer, vampire movies, zombie movies (especially the original and new version of Dawn of the Dead), Night of the Living Dead, 28 Days Later, all the Hellraiser movies, Event Horizon, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, the Stepfather,I Spit on Your Grave, and the best new horror movie/new version of: THE HILLS HAVE EYES. This is a sick movie, with gore galore!!Dodgeball, Zoolander, Saw, The Exorcist.
Farscape, Stargate SG-1 (the best science fiction television show EVER!), The X-Files, Angel, 24, Law and Order SVU (Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay are so slammin'!), Lost, The Simpsons, Gilmore Girls (seasons 1-5), Absolutely Fabulous, OZ, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Reno 911!, Colbert Report, Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Battlestar Galactica, Arrested Development: one of the only comedies I have ever watched. It was perfectly suited to my attention span and sense of humor. However, because of idiots who would rather watch more mindless shows like American Idol, Friends, Gray's Anatomy, and other pieces of shit, this great show was cancelled.I am a die-hard shipper of two television shows currently on the air, with the most relevant one being "Law and Order: SVU;" the much-discussed "will they?" "won't they?" about Det. Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) and Det. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay). Now, I have not watched this TENTH and final season of "Stargate SG-1," because Col. Jack O'Neil (played by RDA) left the show last year in it's ninth season, and since then the quality and cast changes have been horrible. I will play catch up and end up buying season ten on DVD. Before this mess, there was this incredible romantic tension and whole thing going on between General Jack O'Neil and Colonel Samantha Carter for several seasons, really heating up at the end of season three. Every time they were on the screen, even if it wasn't some particularly touching scene, u always felt it. What's amazing is, they never really got physically close, or even talked in any great depth about their feelings for each other, except when they were in alternate realities, where it didn't really count, because as we all know, alternate realities mean when everything goes back to normal, nobody remembers what happened, so it's essentially void.My favorite genre is science-fiction, especially what you would call "cult" television sci-fi (this is television that has a VERY LOYAL, quality fan base, but not a quantity fan base- in other words- it's not the subject of water cooler discussions the next morning at work. Cult tv fans mostly congregate on Internet forums and discussion boards) because I think there are some strong, great quality sci-fi tv shows: "The X-Files" and "Lost" to name two popular ones. *"Stargate SG-1" is the ultimate sci-fi tv show; to those who are not sci-fi fans this show appears as ridiculously corny and stupid. However, to sci-fi fans, it doesn't get much better than this: it has multiple plotlines going on, amazing special effects considering this is a syndicated show, strong characters, and most importantly, is the epitome of Cult TV.
Hunter S. Thompson, Chuck Palachnick, Stephen King,Clive Barker, Tom Wolfe,The Vampire Chronicles, The Mayfair Witches Chronicles, John Updike: The Rabbit Tetrology, Augusten Burroughs, Kerouac, Chopper, There are lots of good memoirs out there, many works by Burroughs, such as Junky, Kerouac, Permanent Midnight and any other Jerry Staul, A Million Little Pieces, My Friend Leonard, I Am Legend, The Road, A Child Called 'It,' T.C. Boyle novels.
Howard Stern, Robin Quivers, Artie Lange, Fred Norris, Baba Booey, Bill Clinton, many professionals I work with in my field, and most of all: my Mom. I never realized how much she did for me when I was growing up, and I know I am where I am today because of her. My father is nonexistent, but Chris knows how much he has done that my father never did for me. I really have a thing for science fiction heroes, such as Dana Scully, Fox Mulder, Jack O'Neil and Samantha Carter (she is an incredibly sexy, bad-ass woman!) . For those sci-fi freaks out there, ya know who I mean, and you know who that handsome devil is in the pics (top right of this page).Hero of the week: Amanda Tapping, best known as Col. Sam Carter on "Stargate SG-1." Yes, I am not being very objective, because I love her long-time. However, she is very hot, and has one of the nicest pairs of breasts ever.... Tell me what you think.
