Band Members: Loraine Baker (Double Bass, Vocals)
For the past 10 years Loraine has played with some of the country's leading acoustic bands of a variety of styles including Cajun, Blues, Ceilidh, Folk, and Bluegrass. Currently she can be found playing with the BFBs amongst other outfits (including Splinter), throughout the UK and Europe. Loraines soulful vocals and solid bass playing have received much acclaim.
Russ Williams (Mandolin, Vocals)
Already being an accomplished bass player, Russ then ventured onto the mandolin deciding he wanted to play both the largest and smallest stringed instruments! He brings his own dynamic style and unique humour to every live performance, as anyone who has witnessed this will agree! As well as being a brilliant mandolinist, he also writes much of the bands original material.
Stu Williams (Guitar, Vocals)
Brother of Russ (the younger one!), Stu started playing at the age of ten. As well as contributing his awesome guitar playing to the band, he also plays banjo, fiddle, and mandolin, and is a full-time teacher of bluegrass on all of his instruments. Stu and Russ both play alongside their crazy dad Bryn and sister Lucy in the family band Johnny Plank & the Planktones.
