LYONS is r.s.p. - rock sensory perception

Rock guitarist, singer, songwriter. A serious fan of modern popular music, Lyons taught himself to play guitar by emulating the greats. A quick study, he soon joined and became the lead guitarist and lead vocalist of numerous bands. He performed regularly at a string of clubs, perfecting rock and blues covers and developing his technical skills to the max. This combined with his strong masculine looks turned him into a brilliant showman. Audiences picked up on Lyons' rock n' roll attitude, speed and inventiveness on guitar, and alluring appeal; men played air guitar, women discretely flashed their private parts and teenagers sat there dumbfounded and delighted ....... Inspired, Lyons recorded an album's worth of originals. Included were: "Solar Time" soul-touching rock mysticism blended with ethereal harmonies, "Polit Man" an a-kicking crunching tune, "Thank God for Music" subtle surreal lyrics powered with screaming guitar leads and "Waves" a beautiful acoustic solo. The assortment of songs recorded undeniably proved that Lyons was a hybrid of the best and unmistakably original. His laid back tender sound mixed with aggressively-passionate hair-rasing leads was unique; an individual style clearly reflected in his tunes and his playing ....... In 1998 Lyons formed his own band. He continues to perform live versions of covers and originals. The shows are electrifying. He uses harmonies, feed back and dynamics to new effects.
