I'm really into video games, mainly because I don't get out that much........I really love music too, especially singing.....as a matter of fact, my singing voice is about the only thing I really have confidence in. I like going out just to ride nowhere in my car, watching movies and TV.....and I love to watch football even though the Redskins haven't done anything since the 80s :( I like Anime but hardly get the time to watch or read Manga. I've played some TCGs including Magic the Gathering and yes, even Pokemon (when I was younger). Anything having to do with mythology of ANY kind (Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Norse, African, you get it) is a major interest for me because I find it fascinating how people were able to develop their own beliefs about where they came from and how they got to where they were at in their lives. I also love to read about Ancient History all the way up to the Middle Ages, WWI and WWII are also great topics. I don't much care for any other American History. I started back on my comic book habit (thanks Aaron), and am actually getting into Batman (even though he's technically not a SUPERhero....). I'm VERY interested in meeting new people and making new friends.....a skill I'm not so good at but would love to do!
I really listen to everything. Country, rap, hip-hop, alternative, rock, classic rock, jazz, blues, bluegrass, arabic, j-rock, j-pop, and j-rap, celtic, zen, reggae, dance/techno/electronica. I will give anything a shot. A few names for you: AC/DC, Maroon 5, Tupac, Travis Tritt, Utada Hikaru, Rhymyster, Rammstein, Foreigner, Huey Lewis and the News, Chicago, Pat Benatar, Marilyn Manson, Cascada, Captain Jack, and the list continues.
I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to movies, although I'd have to say comedy and horror are my two favorites. Nightmare on Elm Street Series, Saw, Talladega Nights, Shaun of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, The Green Mile, Finding Neverland, Phantom of the Opera, 50 First Dates, and a lot more that you're not going to read anyway :)
I've been without cable since February 2006, so I haven't really watched any TV. However, I do own box sets of Family Guys, Chappelle's Show, American Dad, Beavis and Butthead, and Mind of Mencia.....
I'll read about anything from Stephen King. I love humor books, and have read both of Tim Allen's. I'm also a big sucker for the Bathroom Readers, which I'll often memorize and then astound you later with my vast knowledge of things you'd probably be better off not knowing.
I try not to have heroes, because then I'll view these people as a sort of perfection that is unattainable. Putting someone on a pedestal to idolize doesn't make sense to me, I guess.
