NICOLE’S captivating voice has the essence of silky traditional and raw alternative blended into one sound. Gentle and easy on the ears, yet cutting and drawing at the same time.She started singing at a very early age, and has been a worship band singer for 5 years. Her musical studies have included various private lessons in theory, guitar and piano, as well as college level music classes. She has studied voice with Dr. Scott Martin at Academy Of The Arts in Denver, Colorado. Along with her personal studies there, she was also in Dr. Martin’s training program to earn her teaching credential with Academy Of The Arts. In 2005 Nicole also received a Specialist Certificate in music theory from Berklee College of Music. She also aspires to become more prolific in song-writing.
Her main influences in her vocal style include: Carrie Underwood, Sheryl Crow, Michelle Branch, The Wreckers, Jessica Harp, Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, John Mayer, Jewel, Alanis Morissette, and Kellie Pickler. Her VISION and GOAL is to always continually become better at her craft and touch lives across the world by gaining a career in the professional music industry.
