I'd like to meet:

I feel that if it is meant for me to meet someone, I will. With the sad state of affairs our country is in, I would like to have a few choice words with our "president". However, I doubt that would happen. I am not for the war. I used to have tons of anti-Bush, anti war, things on here. I have taken them off in hopes that most of us all feel this and I no longer need to broadcast, since I am not a minority any longer.

Music:

All kinds excpet country. I really enjoy Cold Play, Counting Crows, Vietnam, Cold War Kids, Foo Fighters, John Lennon, Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Alanis Morissette, Blue October, Creed, Green Day, John Mayer, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Propagandhi, Dead Prez and so on. I like music that says something. If you have not heard Immortal Technique please check them out. Music with a message and that is politically conscious

Movies:

Crash is the best movie I have seen in a long time. It has a lot to say about what each person can have in themselves and not even realize. I think this movie should be shown to all children in high school to see where they stand.

Television:

Law and Order SVU or House is my favorite. I do not watch a lot of television. I would rather pick up a book or do some work on the computer, more apt to learn something that way.

Books:

There are so many!!! I would not even know where to start. I am very eclectic in my taste varying from fiction mystery, to philosophy and religion. Books are a wonderful escape and an even better learning tool. Favorites: The Lovely Bones- Alice Sebold. The Dogs of Babel- Carolyn Parkhurst. The Catcher in the Rye-j.d.Salinger The Bell Jar- Sylvia Plath. The Scarpetta Series by Patricia Cornwell, since I am from Richmond, VA that kinda takes me home! Jodi Picoult is probably my favorite author though.........she ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!
