I am a Bass Player. I also write and arrange music for other people. I study music so I can teach it someday in that proud, legitimate, euro-centric way that makes old white people smile with comfort. Truthfully, studying music academically is just another window through which we see how music changes our lives. I am fortunate to play or have played) with wonderful artists like EG Kight, Ann Rabson, Perry Robinson, and David Darling in Philiadelphia and NYC. I also play locally with several different acts (Burgess, Mitchell & Seal Electric Volcano Experiment Infinite Bliss etc.) four to five nights a week in a tremendously supportive music community. People respond the most when I play the Blues. Blues is the pocket, the voice from the earth, the truth. If you don't understand this, do what I did and listen to Big Bill Broonzy.Originally, I started this page as a site for a radio show that is yet to get off the ground (fix the RSS feed). When it happens, I'll be playing vinyl that you can't hear on CD. Lots of Beatles but alot of other cool, strange things. Soon, I hope. Until then, I thought I would share with you some of the musicians and bands I know. Support live music.
