Ram Not Em

About Me

Ram Not Em started in 2003 probobly. Their first album, "Chicken Juice" (2003) was a hometown hit where they covered classics like "Yankee Fattel," "We Like the Rats" along with original material such as instant classics like 'Chicken Juice' and 'Call Waiting.'
After a short stint of success, Ram Not Em, moved from synth and keyboards over to the acoustic and electric guitar to record their sophmore album, "Grandma's Perfume" (2004) where their inspiration; Grandma Gail came into fame. With hits like "Grandma's Perfume" "The Grandma Gail song," and "Tea Party with the President" they paved the way for their new rock and roll sound.
When Grandma's Perfume hit plastic, Ram Not Em quickly re-entered the studio with their third album "Jingle Smells" (2004) where they covered traditional Christmas songs and put their own twist and crannies into the lyrics. Such songs as "I Saw Gail Kissing Santa Claus," "Jingle on my apple" and "Gary the Red Nosed Reindeer," are still heard during the yuletide season.
Ram Not Em continued to write better and better songs until a hiatus in 2006. Ram Not Em was in the mist of a reunion for a new revolutionary album. After putting Ryan and Andru's genius back together, they recorded an album of brand new material slated for a 2007 release. After a lawsuit against them from former manager Guy-With-The-Dumb-Haircut, Ram Not Em were forced to push the album to a spring 2008 release. The much-awaited self-titled album was finally released in May 2008. Songs like "Goodbye", "Gray Car", and "The La Song" were local favorites have given them more success than their debut single "Chicken Juice"
After almost 5 years without touring, Ram Not Em played the festival 'Poopapalooza 2008' in their hometown thus started making plans for a tour in the near future. Ram Not Em are now working on a follow up to their self-titled album which has a remake of the classic unreleased song like "Corn Daily" , their first single "Good Morning" and new re-vamped version of their hit classic "Chicken Juice"
Ram Not Em's cd is avaliable on all internet outlets such as iTunes, AmazonMP3, Rhapsody, GroupieTunes, Shockhound, Amie Street, Napster, and eMusic.
